EZ-File Manager
Using the File Manager is the only way to place your own files onto your site. To use this option, you go to the member tools main menu and you will see that by default the 'Edit Global Information' is in the drop down box under the 'Construction Tools. Click on the drop down box and choose 'EZ File Manager (upload files)' and then click the 'Go' button. This will bring you to a page that gives the following:
| File 1: |
Browse |
| File 2: |
Browse |
| File 3: |
Browse |
| File 4: |
Browse |
| File 5: |
Browse |
To the right of these fields you will see a list of your files. These are all of the files that you have access to. If you are a new member, there may be very few files in this list. You will notice that each file name is a link. You can click on the name to see the graphic/page that it is. Next to each of these files is a 'Delete' option. You can delete graphics and pages that were not created in page builder from this location. Click Here to see how to delete page builder pages.
Below the fields on the left, you will find a pie graph. This graph shows how much of the 50 MB space you have used and how much is left to fill.
To upload your files, you must first have them in the correct file format. As you can see above the pie graph, we only allow the following file formats to be uploaded:
.html
.htm
.jpg
.gif
.class
.mid
.wav
If the file you would like to upload is of a different file format than these listed here, you will need to contact support for information on if and how you can use that file. Email us with the questions, or Click Here to see what hours we are open.
We also ask that you keep the files you are uploading to under 60K in size. The reason for this is that every file on the internet (with the exception of a few), should be well under 60K in size. If files are larger than this, they will take too long to view by your customers. Chances are that your customers will not be willing to wait for everything to load, and they will leave your site.
