Aaron Erickson
On Thursday May 29, 2008, Aaron David Erickson passed on from his life of 23 years on earth to Eternal Life he held faith in.

After his birth in Bellevue, Washington, Aaron lived near Snoqualmie close to the base of Mt. Si for a short time before moving with his family to the Yakima Valley near Sunnyside.

Aaron's first love in his life was his family and friends - all of whom will miss him dearly for his smile, his wit, and most of all, for his sincerity in his care for others.

Integrated with Aaron's love of family and friends was his love of the outdoors and God's Creation of pine or sagebrush-covered mountains, lakes, rivers, and valleys - in other words, anywhere a trout, pheasant, quail, deer, or pristine view could be found.

Aaron will be very much remembered by his family which includes his mother Susan and brother Joshua Erickson of Grandview, sister Kim Erickson of Sacramento, California, grandparents Albert and Ida Van Klinken of Grandview, aunts and uncles Karen and Paster Edward Cummings of Terrace Heights, David and Wendy Van Klinken of Managua, Nicaragua, and numerous cousins.

Funeral services are scheduled June 5 at 2:00 pm at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens near Sunnyside, Washington with Valley Hills Funeral Home, Sunnyside in charge of arrangements. Public viewing will be from 5 - 8 pm Wednesday, June 4.

A time of gathering for family and friends will be at the home of Albert and Ida Van Klinken on Wilgus Road following Aaron's funeral.

It is the families' desire that the process of healing in the loss of Aaron will be guided and modeled after the perfect love and forgiveness demonstrated by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Aaron will be missed, but never forgotten, and his death is a reminder that our time on earth is temporary in comparison to Eternal Life provided by belief in Christ's sacrifice for us on the Cross.
