In Order To Be Successful With Your Weight Loss
Refer To The Information, For Your Calorie Intake

Starting with your current weight (not your target weight) round off to the nearest ten pounds. For example, if your current weight is 174 pounds, round off to 170 pounds. Find the appropriate row in the tables for men or women. The weight in pounds is along the left side of the table. Note that each weight has two divisions labeled 100% and 70%.
Next, move across your weight row to the column beneath your height. Where these two meet you will find the number that gives your Daily Calorie Needs. (Note: If your current body weight is greater than the highest number on the table, use the highest Daily Calorie Needs listed for your particular height.)
The shaded section of the box, labeled 100%, is your Daily Calorie Need if you are using THERMOJETICS to maintain weight. If you are using THERMOJETICS to lose weight, we recommend that you vary your Daily Calorie intake between 70% and 100% of your daily needs. Generally, stay closer to the 70% mark at least five days a week. We do not recommend consuming less than 70% of your Daily Calorie Needs.
(If you are under 25 years of age, add 100 calories. If you are over 40 years of age, subtract 100 calories.)
Example: The 100% Daily Calorie Need for a 5'6", 35 year old woman who weighs 120 pounds is 1600 calories. If she does not need to lose weight, she should maintain a Daily Calorie intake of about 1600 calories (100% level).
Example: A 30 year old man who is 5'10" and 190 has a Daily Calorie Need of about 2250 calories (100% level). Since this man could afford to lose about 20 pounds and has a target weight of 170 pounds, he should vary his Daily Calorie intake between 1575 calories (70% level) and 2250 calories (100% level).



Too many fast releasing carbohydrates lead to weight gain. If you tried to get all the protein you need from foods such as meats, you would consume too many calories, because these protein rich foods come with extra fat calories.
