Weber County is located along the 100-mile long Wasatch Front mountain range. Elevations in Weber County range from 4,000 feet near the shores of the Great Salt Lake to nearly 10,000 feet at the summits of Ben Lomond and Mount Ogden. Weber County is 576 square miles and is part of the Ogden-Clearfield Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). Ogden is in the center of Weber County near interstate highways I-15 and I-84, and state highway 89.
 

The Ogden-Hinckley Airport, located in Weber County, is Utah's busiest general aviation airport with 110,000 operations logged in 2004. More than 290 General Aviation airplanes call the facility "home". The Kemp Ogden Airport Gateway Center is a forty-seven acre privately owned, master-planned business air park located at the Ogden Hinckley Airport.

The Salt Lake City International Airport is approximately 40 minutes from Weber County on I-15 south and I-215 west. It is situated within a two and a half hour flight from half of the U.S. population and is home to fifteen airlines. There are over 900 scheduled daily flights from the facility serving more than 100 cities with non-stop flights.
