Indulge your inner Renaissance “playtronage” with a Friday night arrival at The Wilde and feast on the humble fare of hearty homemade potage (soup), organic artisan bread, salad, and a sweet dessert for M’Lord and M’Ladye’s delight. Dance with the fairies around the wooded campfire area (complete with complimentary S’mores Kit) in Great Father Oaks’ starry grove, then relax and renew with a long soak in our Japanese pavilion hot tub, or take a sweat in the Forge of Dry Heat (our Michigan Porch cedar sauna). Later in the evening, retire to lavender-scented luxury in M’Lord and Ladye’s premier chambers, The Shaman’s Dream Suite (queen size bed, high thread count linens, private bath, kitchenette, separate TV/DVD/VHS sitting room with fold out sofa bed, and a private balcony overlooking the Wilde Woods).
Arise at your leisure to enjoy a full Renaissance breakfast cooked by Scullery Sue in the intimate galley kitchen at Wilde Oaks. Your morning breakfast fare can be served on your private balcony, in the dining room, or outdoors on the lower deck. The Lancelot and Guinevere Gourmand Break-fast includes: Chilled Overnight Oats with Apples, Pears, Raspberry Sauce and Clotted Crème, Scrambled Eggs with Garden Fresh Herbs, Tom Turkey Sausage, Scones with Lime Curd, and a Wild Orchid Tea of your choice. After breakfast, grab the 2 box lunches (chicken, baguette, fresh veggies/dip, fruit, ale) provided by Scullery Sue for your Festival picnic. The Mayfaire Renaissance Festival includes entertainment, children’s adventures/activities,over 50 merchants promoting 1st-16th century ware/time period pieces. Slay your dragons, then return to Wilde Oaks for a rejuvenating massage by our certified massage therapist, Erin Haas.
Enjoy another Arthurian breakfast and leave with memories of "having the time of your life".
