Executive Director
Position Overview:
The responsibilities of the Executive Director are both strategic, in setting direction and goals for the Central Alabama Women’s Business Center, and operational, in managing the day-to-day operations, administering and monitoring the programs, counseling, education and training to small business owners and other entrepreneurs. Primary areas of accountability will include the solicitation and oversight of the SBA grant, managing staff, business coaching, the E.C. Schlarb Foundation, fundraising, program, business, community, and economic development all in an effort to increase the services and public/private support for CAWBC. The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors.

Qualifications:
• Post Secondary: A Bachelor’s degree is required. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Job Specific Training: Computer literate and comfortable with Microsoft Office applications, and the Internet.
• Job Related Experience: Demonstrated work in organizing, planning, delegating/directing, and budgeting of programs for at least five years required.
• Desired Experience: Business management, resource development, economic development and/or grant writing.
