2. Adding Products to your catalog.
Now that you have created one or more categories to organize your products, we can add the products themselves. Note: while using categories is not technically required, in practice, it is usually better to have at least one category, even if all your products are in that one category.
From the EZ-Catalog menu click on the "Maintain Products" link. (Remember that the EZ-Catalog Menu can be reached from the "Construction Tab".

To add a new product click on the "Add Products" button.

Enter the name of the product in the "Title" field.

Enter the stock number of the product in the "Stock #" box.
Enter the price in the "Price" box.
Enter a description of the product in the "Long Description" box.

Leave the other boxes blank for now.

Add the product to the category by clicking on the "Add" button associated with the category box. Then select the category the product belongs in by clicking on the category name and then clicking on the right arrow button. The category name should now appear in the right box. Click on the "Save" button to save the category.
Assign category to product
Click on the "Save" button to save this product.

Add more products to this category by repeating the above steps.
