Cemetery Rates and Lot Information
1. Cemetery lots are available by contacting Clerk Michelle Waite or Deputy Clerk Connie Rushmore at 269- 673-5051.
2. The cost is $100.00 per grave for Allegan Township residents and $600.00 for non-residents.
3.Burials per grave may include one body, two sets of cremains, or one body and one set of cremains. Only one headstone allowed per grave. 4. Headstone for one grave shall be no more than 40" long.
5. Purchase limit of 8 graves (which is 1 lot) per resident or non resident.
6. Effective January 1, 2023: Grave opening fee of $600.00. Cremation grave opening of $250.00. Grave closing fee of $50.00. There is an additional fee of $100.00 for Saturday/Sunday, and an additional $55.00/hour after 5 PM.
7. Hours are from sunrise to sunset.
All deed owners, whose current addresses we have, received a letter along with the rules and newly passed ordinance that contains other rules and regulations. If you did not receive the above mailing, please e-mail or call the Clerk and we'll get you a copy. |
