18th Century French Louis XV / Louis XVI Transitional Petite Armoire

Description:
Circa 1760 to 1790 Louis XV / Louis XVI transitional armoire from Bresse, France. In cherry with burled Elm panels. The sides are also three panels. Carved in relief including the name "Denise Berge" and other charming details. Deep warm color and patina. Excellent quality, and the overall condition is strong and sturdy.

Unusually small scale (this piece is pictured in a room with a low ceiling). The doors reverse to show off door fronts while displaying the inside. Inside has a wonderful patina, excellent condition.
