Rare 18th Century Louis XV/ XVI Transitional French Chateau Versailles Style Armoire

This stunning 18th Century Louis XV/XVI Transitional French Chateau Scale Armoire majestically stands nearly 10 feet tall. Remarkable carving in relief in the Italian taste of carved baskets of flowers, Venetian style dolphins, cords, tassels, and multiple musical instruments. The fluted side columns are topped with acanthus leaves and wrapped with vines. Crown has a basket centered with pomegranates, flowers and leaves. The apron is pierced with a centered urn with the tree of life pouring out to the sides It has three paneled doors and sides of the case are washed in white paint with gilt highlights. This piece has the feel of The Palace of Versailles.
