The site is supported by the Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center, the NIH and donations. Estimates are based on clinical factors and (when available) genotypes of two genes: cytochrome P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) and vitamin K epoxide reductase (VKORC1).

Institute for Systems Biology (ISB) is a non-profit research institution located in Seattle, Washington founded by Dr. Leroy Hood. The ISB concentrates on systems biology, the study of relationships and interactions between various parts of biological systems, and advocates an interdisciplinary approach to biological research. They use a cross-disciplinary approach combining the efforts of biologists, chemists, computer scientists, engineers, mathematicians, physicists, and physicians.

Harvard Medical School in biomaterial sciences. His life-long goal has
