Denial of Service in the Evening of Thursday
October 15, 2009
In the early evening of Thursday, October 15, 2009, the EZ-NetTools web servers were flooded with an enormous number of catalog requests to a single user account. The volume of traffic was approximately 100 times the normal traffic. As soon as we identified the problem and stopped responding to the requests, the traffic returned to normal.
