New Address Search Replaces Dealer/Locator

On April 30, 2003, we have added a new pagebuilder block called “Address Search.” This new block is designed to replace the “EZ-Find Dealer/ Locator.” The new Address Search tool can do all that the old Dealer/Locator plus much more. For a short while both the old and the new tools will be available. Some time after July 1, 2003, the old Dealer/Locator will be removed.

The purpose of the Address Search is to provide a way to find what addresses in a web sites database are within or near a specified geographic area. For example if you web site is associated with a number of dealers, resellers, or affiliates, by using the Address Search it is possible to find which ones are close to a given zip code or city. The underlying database can be from either the EZ-Directory or EZ-Affiliate. The old Dealer/Locator had its own database. This new version is significantly more powerful and easy to use.

Note. For a number of reasons we have chosen to develop a completely new tool rather than update the old Dealer/Locator. We will discontinue the old Dealer/Locator after July 1, 2003. You can either move your data to the directory or affiliate databases. If you would like us to convert the files for you, contact Technical Support.
