Button Bar Gets a Facelift
The Button Bar block in EZ-PageBuilder has been given a new face lift. The underlying functionality of the block and the appearance in the final page has not been changed. Only the interface encountered when editing the block on change, and changed dramatically.
Years ago, when we introduced the ability to have subdirectories, we created a bit of a problem. The addresses for graphics and pages could become very long, longer than the data entry fields. Many times you could easily not see the actual file, only part of the address. Another problem was that the links for the graphic were not next to the link to the page and the mouse over. Consequently, as you were putting everything together, you were moving back a forth a great deal. To solve both these problems we rearranged the data fields so that all information pertaining to a button are next to each other. In addition, once the graphic for the button is entered, you will be able to see what it looks like. Even the mouse over graphic will display if one is entered.
Note that all information about the button is now grouped together. Also, note the additional space that is available to see the addresses for the link and the button.
On the far right side of the page, the buttons will be displayed. If you have selected a mouse over graphic, that will also be displayed if you mouse over the graphic. The feature is new and should be very helpful.
For your reference, the graphic below shows what the Button Bar used to look like. Note that the address for the button and the address for the link are not very close together and the fields are not very long.
