On Wednesday morning, January 15, 2003, all of the hardware used to process email was upgraded. Previously, all email was handled by one server. After this upgrade, the mail will be processed on four servers, each performing a different function. This new architecture will allow us to easily expand our capacity in the future.

You should have seen very little difference in your email service during the upgrade. While certain functions were not available for a period of several hours, no email should have been lost. There were some duplication of emails which was done when there was a possibility of any problems. The upgrade went very smoothly.

However, if your Mail Exchange (MX) Record is being directed to us by another hosting company, you may not be able to retrieve e-mail. You can resolve this issue by calling up the company that is hosting your domain name, and have the direct the MX record to the following domain or IP address:
