Upgrade to Email Network Connection
Early in the morning, Thursday, December 21, 2006, EZ-Nettools switched to a much larger network connection for processing email. This change was required at this time because of the huge surge in email traffic in the last several months that periodically has clogged our previous network connection. The clogged network regularly resulted in delayed delivery of email messages.

The switch went very successfully this morning. However, some EZ-NetTools email accounts may appear to be non functional for a few hours. The most likely explanation for this symptom is that your ISP has not refreshed their DNS tables to reflect the new address for our email servers. Earlier this week we notified all of the DNS servers in the world to refresh their DNS tables more frequently in anticipation of this change. The ISP’s who are following standard internet protocols would have refreshed their DNS table within five minutes of the change. The customers of those ISPs would have only seen a five minute window of interrupted service, at the maximum.However, some ISP’s choose to update their information less frequently, disregarding our instructions. Their customers will see interrupted service until the ISP refreshed their DNS tables.

This latest update reflects our continued commitment to provide quality service to our customers.

If you continue to have problems during the Holidays, you can change address your Outlook Express is looking for from a domain name to our IP address, 67.158.135.254 in the POP servers section.
