On Wednesday, December 11, 2002, a new version of order statistics was uploaded. The new version is a simpler program and should load faster. In addition, several new features were added.

Abandoned Orders. With the conversion to the new catalog and order database in November 2002, the system now captures information every time someone puts something in a shopping cart. Many of those shopping carts turn into completed orders. However, many shopping carts are abandoned before the order is completed. The new Order Statistics tools will show you the number of potential orders that were not completed and what step in the order to checkout process they were terminated. This information will give you some idea of what people shopping on your web site are doing.

The EZ-NetTools system will delete all abandoned orders after 60 days. You should also be aware that an order is not considered abandoned until several days has gone by without being updated.

Affiliate Orders. Some time after the first of 2003, EZ-Net Tools will be modified to capture information about what affiliate referred the person making the purchase to your website. Using this option you will be able to get the totals by affiliate.
