Scheduled Server Maintenance and Outage
----- Notice to ALL EZNettools Customers -----

EZ-NetTools will be performing maintenance on our web servers during the week of February 19 to 23, 2007. At one point during this maintenance process, our web servers will be out of service for approximately two hours. This two hour period is scheduled to take place very early on Tuesday morning, shortly after midnight, February 20, 2007. If all of the preparatory tasks do not get completed on time, this outage will be rescheduled for a subsequent morning. A number of other maintenance changes will be occurring during the week. We have made provisions to reroute web traffic during this maintenance process except for the two hour block of time mentioned.

---- Notice to SOME EZNettools Customers ------

For a very small number of our customers, those who do not host their domain names with EZ-NetTools (ICServ), these changes will have a much more profound impact. EZ-NetTools is changing our IP address for web services to 67.158.135.230. We will take care of this change for all domain names that we host. Therefore, the majority of our customers will not be affected nor notice any difference beyond the two hour period mentioned.

To determine if your domain name will be adversely affected by this change, you need to know what domain servers your domain name refers to. The domain names that refer to NS1.ICSERV.NET or NS2.ICSERV.NET (capitalization is not important.) will not have a problem. To check your domain servers, enter your domain name after clicking on following link and check the “Domain servers.”

However, if your domain name indicates something other than ns1.icserv.net or ns2.icerv.net, the web traffic to your web site will be lost by the end of February. We will continue to route web traffic from both the old and new IP addresses until the latter part of February, possibly as late as February 28. But beginning March 1, we cannot route the traffic to the old IP address. If this is your situation, you need to contact the host of your domain name and instruct them to reroute your web traffic to the new IP address, 67.158.135.230.
