Engraved office and wayfinding signs are made from a product called ROWMARK. It's two layers of plastic that are fused together. When we engrave through the top layer, whatever is engraved exposes the 2nd layer.
When looking at the colors, the face color is the larger color and the strip would represent the color for the engraved text.
