I'm thinking of changing the text size to "2" for the bulletin board. let me know if it's too hard to read or if you just don't like it.

At 69 and wearing glasses. I find the existing font size is okay. It appears to be a 10pt font. The larger 12 pt would be a little on the large size. I can see the 8 pt font (see date format note) is still readable. Viewers who have difficulty with the existing font size of any website always have the option of increasing the font size of their browser (e.g. click on view, then font size, to increase or decrease the size of all font on the screen). Of course, that can create some curious page layout problems.

Good ideal but save your energy for needed changes I.e. Work on Catalog, Global headers, maybe a global font face not just the global font color we can now select.
