Selling Intellectual Property with EZ-Catalog
This course will show you how to enhance EZ-Catalog so that you can sell intellectual property such as music, software, newsletters with EZ-Catalog. EZ-catalog is primarily designed for businesses that must ship their products after they have been ordered. However, many products do not need to be "shipped" but rather downloaded. This course will show you how to use a javascript program to that will modify the order confirmation page so that it will provide a link to another page or file once the order is complete. You do not need to know javascript to make this enhancement.

Form Building Using Payment Option
You will learn how to build a form that can be used to accept a payment using EZ-FormBuilder. When the form is completed and submitted, the user will be taken to a page to enter his payment information, which can then be processed immediately. This function is only available for e-commerce account types. (This process is a simpler form or process than using the Checkout API and will not create an entry in the order file.)

Utilizing the Checkout API
You will learn how to build an interface to the EZ-CheckOut process using a customized form or passing data from another server. Several sample forms are given. Once the purchaser is passed to this API, they will be processed through the complete check out process including address, shipping, and payment information. Upon completion of the process the data will be stored in the order files as if it had come from the EZ-Catalog system. This course assumes you have a solid understanding of HTML and data exchange technology. This process will only work in E-commerce account types.
