Languedoc, France.....
A delicious punchy red from one of the Languedoc's top cooperatives. It is a blend of the classic southern French grape varieties - Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre and Carignan. It has a lovely deep color and is full of dark spicy fruit, and hints of "garrigue", or underbrush. Could be compared to a good Cotes du Rhone; perfect with seasoned beef or lamb.
