Alianza Counseling was co-founded by Marcos N. Gallardo, MSW in 2006 and became the sole proprietor in 2015.  Originally, Marcos and his partners felt it was important to offer professional counseling services in English and in Spanish to the community as there was an overwhelming need.  Alianza Counseling provides individual and group counseling services.  

Prior to Mr. Gallardo's current role, he was the Director of the Latino Behavioral Health Services in San Joaquin County and has been providing counseling services since 2001.  Mr. Gallardo graduated with a Masters degree in the School of Social Work from the California State University, Stanislaus.

As as behavioral counselor, our services focus on Depression, Anxiety, Self-Esteem, Self-Improvement, Domestic Violence, Anger Management, Childhood Trauma, Substance Abuse and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  Alianza Counseling is also LGBT friendly.

Alianza Counseling began providing services to the underserved populations in San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties in May 2006.  Alianza Counseling provides confidential conversations in beautiful offices and in comfortable surroundings.  Service is #1 for us and our clients are treated with the utmost respect and dignity.  Many of our clients have had positive outcomes with our services.  Alianza Counseling is a proud member of the San Joaquin County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
