The Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce is the sponsor of the annual Rexburg Business Expo . The EXPO is typically held during the first half of October, during the spud harvest break. The EXPO is held at Madison Junior High School, who generously provide their facilities to the Chamber.
It all begins at 11:00 AM with the first keynote speaker, a lunch in the Commons area outside the auditorium, followed by a second keynote speaker. This will be followed by breakout workshop sessions taught by regional and local successful business owners and experts. Networking and Expo vendors will run throughout the day.
The purpose of this event is to provide a venue for local businesses to get their message out to other businesses and the public in general. There are many businesses located within Madison County providing a wide variety of products and services but who are not well known to the local community. Many businesses have a national and international market but very little in the local area. The Rexburg Business EXPO gives these businesses an opportunity to tell their neighbors what they do.
With the proximity of BYU Idaho, Madison county presents an wonderful opportunity to feed the entrepreneurial spirit of students and business people. The Rexburg Business EXPO encourages that spirit and will provide opportunities for these adventurous soles to get kick started.
We invite all local businesses and community members to participate in this event. Expo vendor applications are going fast. The Business Expo is FREE to the public. If you would like to be a sponsor or want an Expo vendor application contact The Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce at 356-5700.
