One of my favorites! This painting has made its share of appearances in shows all around Connecticut, and is represented in the Paier College of Art 2002-2004 catalog. Although small in size, this piece exhibits an enormous gesture between two creatures.

"The Accessorizer" began as a project at Paier College of Art. For a final exam I was asked to illustrate a comic book cover complete with plot and characters. What I came up with was not your average super hero! Not only does she fight crimes of fashion, but "The Accessorizer" must stay one step ahead of her evil nemesis, Faux Paula, who has vowed to leave society powerless in making fashion-conscious decisions. What a fun piece!

Having grown up "under the influence" of Robert Palmer's music in the eighties, I mourned his death in 2003 along with the rest of his fans.

From a photo in a CD cover, I studied that trademark stare of "The Best-Dressed Man in Rock-n-Roll", and challenged myself to immortalize it through lights and darks.
