Oh, What Do We Do in the Summertime??? (Part 1)

In the few days of summer that we experienced in May, I was able to catch a few pictures of some of the things we have already been doing in this warm weather. So, I have consequently decided to do a page about summer, and meanwhile the primary song, "Oh, What Do You Do in the Summertime?" just keeps going through my mind. Now, I have to admit that I enjoyed my English classes in high school and college for the most part. But, there was one style of writing that I just never got into, and that was POETRY! However, while looking at these pictures with that primary song running through my mind, I just couldn't resist. I'm a little embarrassed, but I am still going to show off my EFFORTS. So, with that said, here are some of the things our family has been enjoying this summer...so far.

Running through sprinklers
Under hot rays of sun,

|
And picnics outside
Are so much fun!
|
|
|
|
Planting a garden
And watching it grow,
|
|
Digging holes in the lawn.
(Mom won’t know…)
|
|
|
James just wants
To make some new friends
|
|
|
But Alas! When he picks one so small
Its little life ends.
|
|
|
|
