Odds and Ends
December 2007

The monday before Christmas we decided to take the kids sledding at my granparents house in St. Anthony. They have an awesome sledding hill, and they even put a street light in their yard so the hill is lit up at night! I wish I could have taken more pictures, but the batteries in our camera died! I guess that just means we have to go again soon! When we finally got all tuckered out from climbing the hill, Grandma and Granddad welcomed us in for hot chocolate and toast. Yummy! We had such a good time visiting with them. Thank you Grandma and Granddad Burt for a wonderful evening!

I don't really like this picture of me (I think I was concerned about the other kids climbing the hill and James and I plowing them over.), but James looks cute in his blue "marshmallow" coat. He didn't seem extremely excited, but he would always giggle and say, "Yay! Fun!" once we got to the bottom of the hill.

One day while the older kids were still in school, William and Sarah decided to go out and build a snow man. I thought it was a pretty cute little snow man. They were very proud of it!

Before Richard and I go to bed each night, I like to check on the kids. Sometimes they just seem especially cute while they are sleeping. It's hard for me not to just pick them up and give them a big hug and kiss! I snapped this picture of James sometime in December.
