Keland Draney, Joseph West, Shauna Lee, Larry Prescott, Preston Haley, DaNiel Jose, Kevin Riggs, Keith Davidson, Louis Clements, Jack Bowman, Shawn Larsen, Mike Clements, Commissioner Reed Sommer, Byron John, Kurt Hibbert, John Millar, Walter Deitz, Dan Hanna, Doug Hancey, Kim Goodman, Marilyn Rasmussen, Ron Moss, Vicki Grover.
In attendance:
Keland Draney, Kevin Riggs, Shawn Larsen, Kurt Hibbert, Louis Clements, Joseph West.
Topics:
· Hidden Valley Bike path status-Should be grading the path right now
· City supports Hidden Valley path, and would like to collaborate some Eagle Scout projects with the path.
· Property Near Stonebridge (old gravel pit) the developer agrees to put in path and maintain it.
· Kurt Hibbert had the previous trail maps meshed into one master trail map, and everyone at the meeting looked over the master trail map to find inconsistencies in trail locations/destinations.
· Name change from “Madison Rivers Greenways committee” to “The Trails of Madison county”
· Need to get money for a landscape architect to draw the trail plans, and some color renderings of several trail sections throughout the county. The renderings will show the public what to expect and hopefully get them excited about what we are trying to do, etc.
· Open house for the trails of Madison County to introduce the bike paths, and where we want to go with the trail plans in the future.
· Start striping and signing the shared road way bike paths in the city this coming spring
Stone Bridge:
John Millar to negotiate with developers regarding the proposed pathway through the Stonebridge development.
