Teton River Plaza Bridge and Trail

The objective of this project is to construct a pedestrian/bicycle trail on the north bank of the Teton River adjacent to the Teton River Plaza and to construct a pedestrian/bicycle bridge across the river, connecting to the trail system on the south side of the river.
In January 2005, the Trails committee applied for a grant from the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation to fund part of this project in the amount of $90,000. The committee had previously received commitments from the Rexburg Redevelopment Agency to fund $40,000 of the project. The city of Rexburg committed over $10,000 for "in kind" match through labor, materials and equipment.
