There
are counters that keep track of how many times each page on your site is
accessed ('hit' in web jargon). This information allows you to determine
which pages are the most popular with your customers. You can use this
information to better tailor your website to the needs of your customer
base.
You get to this option by selecting the choice View Counters from the Administrative Tools menu. You leave this option by pressing the button labeled Return to Main Menu. When you select the option to View Counters, you
will see a display that shows all the counters on your website and the
total number of times that each page has been accessed ('hit'): Click on the monthly total for any item, to view a display that shows the number of accesses performed each day:
To leave the display, simply press the Return to Main Menu button. |
