You get to this option by selecting the choice Search Engine Tool from the Promotion Tools menu.  To leave this option, press the Main Menu button.

One of the keys to web site promotion is placing your site where customers will be looking. Industry experts report that approximately 85% of all web searches are conducted through the top ten search engines. (AltaVista, Excite/AOL, HotBot, InfoSeek, Magellan, NetFind, NorthernLight, LinkStar, Lycos, WebCrawler and Yahoo!)

Search engines catalog only those websites that request to be indexed. The Search EngineTool walks you through this process.

When you select the option, you are given three choices:

Submit to Top 10: This option allows you to use the submission engine. 

Order Report: This is a special charge item provided by your dealer that you can order if you wish. It reports the current positioning of your site on the top ten search engines.

View Report: If you have ordered the report, you can view it using this option.

When you are finished with this option, press the Return to Main Menu button.
