Index

This function allows you to enter events into your calendar.

You get to this function from the EZ-Calendar main menu, which is, in turn, accessed from the Construction Tools menu. You leave this function by pressing the Submit button at the bottom of the block.

If there are already entries in your Calendar, they will be displayed on a menu when you enter. Calendar events are automatically removed after their date passes, but you may also remove items from your calendar with the Delete button. To change a calendar event, press the Edit button. To add a new event, press the New Event button.
 
 

Title: Enter the title of the event. Note that you may enter HTML in this block to control the type face and spacing, but there isn't very much space.

From: If you selected the option to display event times, you will be asked for the time and date that the event begins. If you turned the time feature off, you will only be asked for the start date.

To: If you selected the option to display event times, you will be asked for the time and date that the event is over. If you turned the time feature off, you will only be asked for the ending date.

Place: Enter the location of the event. This is a very short field. Do not use apostrophes or special characters in it.

Sponsor: Enter the name of the person or organization that is sponsoring the event.

Link on Server: If you want the customer to be able to link to a related page on your website, you may browse and enter that link here.

Other Link: If you want the customer to be able to link to a related page on another site, you may type that address here. Note that this must be the absolute page address, starting with "http://"

Contact Person: Enter the name of the person whom the customer should contact for more information.

Contact Email: Enter the email address of the person whom the customer should contact for more information.

Contact Phone: Enter the phone number of the person whom the customer should contact for more information.

Description: Enter a brief (up to 300 characters) description of the event. Note that you may enter HTML in this block to control the type face and spacing

To leave this function, press the Submit button.
