Log Home Restoration - Log Repair

This 1950's lake cottage was originally sealed with tar. We needed to Cob blast and aggresively buff the logs to get through the decades old finish. Log repair was necessary on the bottom log courses in several sections due to water splash-back over the years with a non-breathable finish. Carpenter Ants moved into the wet logs and caused even more damage. The rotten log sections were cut back and matching log faces were replaced.

This hunting cabin was nearly falling apart. Existing logs were cob-blasted and osborn brushed. Rotted logs were replaced and a new sliding glass door and window were installed.
