EZ-PageBuilder - Quick Start Guide

8. Wrapping Up - Saving, Previewing, and Existing Page Builder.

You are just about done. You just need to wrap up a few details and your will have your first web page.
|
|
|
|
|
Choose "Save" from the file menu. Remember this is located in the upper left corner the window
|
|
|
|
|
The "EZ-Browse" window will appear. Select "/home" from the "Look In" drop down menu found in the upper section.

|
Type "index" into the "File Name" text box in the bottom portion of EZ-Browse. ("index.html is always the name of your home page of this web site.) Note: if you want to keep your current home page, save this page with some other name other than "index."

Click "Save As." Since an index page was automatically created when your account was activated, you will need to click the "Overwrite" button to continue.

|
Select the "Preview Current" option from the "View" drop down menu. You can preview your page at anytime while in EZ-PageBuilder.

|
|
|
Return to EZ-PageBuilder by closing the window. You can do this by clicking on the "X" located in the top right corner of the browser window.

|
The page you have just created is very basic. There are many more options which have not been covered in this guide. Have fun experimenting with other pages. You can get ideas by visiting the sample web sites listed under the Resource menu.

In the "File" drop down menu in the upper left corner of the window, scroll to the bottom of the list and click "Exit."
|
|
|
A window will likely appear asking if you want to save the changes to the current page. Click "Yes."
|
|
|
Note: If you did not put in "Meta Tag" information, you will see "WARNING: No Meta Tags or Title." You can either choose to bypass this step or edit the Meta Tags and then Save the page again. Meta Tags are not required to create a page.
