We welcome information about all upcoming BYH reunions, large or small, and past, present or future. We will help provide notices and publicity beforehand, and reunion photo album space afterward, for each one. This is a volunteer and non-profit website -- there is no cost for this service.
We invite class presidents, reunion committees, individuals, and volunteer historians to contribute pictures and content to this website. Simply email information and photos.
Some BYH classes hold a traditional reunion every five years, but hold inexpensive get-togethers at parks and in private homes every year in between, for those who can attend. Some classes also invite the classes immediately before and after their graduation year.

The 40th year reunion of the BYH Class of 1969 was held on Friday, July 3, 2009. It was held in the historic B.Y. Academy's Education Building, now the flagship of the Provo City Library at Academy Square.

The reunion was held in the Bullock Room -- this is the old chorus room on the third floor of the Academy Building. The reunion formally began at 5 pm and continued through 8:45 pm.
The program included a catered meal, a memorial booklet, pictures, and a whole lot of catching up. A golf tournament was held earlier. Members of the Class of 1969 came for an enjoyable evening of memories and reminiscing.
The reunion committee earlier prepared an announcement flyer with details and registration instructions. Plenty of advance notice was given for those who made a special trip for this event so they could purchase discount air fares and make other travel arrangements.

The BYH Class of 1968 held its 40th Year Reunion on Saturday, July 5th. It began at 12 noon and continued through 4 pm at the BY Academy Building on the Lower Campus (Provo City Library at Academy Square).

The Class of 1965 held its 40th Year Reunion on the campus of the Utah Valley State College on Saturday, July 2, 2005. More information can be found by clicking on "Class of 1965 Reunions" below.
The BYH Class of 1965 has a great lead in planning for its 45th Year Reunion to be held in 2010. Ann Hickenlooper Tolley was elected Reunion Chair at the 40th Reunion in 2005.
The reunion is being tentatively planned for the Saturday before Memorial Day, May 29, 2010.
Class members are encouraged to update their alumni profiles on the website, and also to visit here regularly for updates on reunion planning.
For example, in the future you will find a map posted here with directions to the reunion site in Mapleton -- a party barn near Ann Hickenlooper Tolley's house.

In 2001, a celebration of the just-completed restoration of the Brigham Young Academy building was held in the ballroom of that building, and members of all Brigham Young High School classes were invited to attend. The oldest alumnus to attend was Karl A. Miller, a member of the Class of 1923.

The year 2018 will mark the 50th year following the closing of Brigham Young High School in 1968. For perspective, the members of the Class of 1968 will be approximately 68 years old that year. Surviving members of the Class of 1936 will be 100 years old. The All Classes BYH Reunion of 2018 will be held in the restored Academy building in early July.

Future All-Classes BYH Sesquicentennial Reunion of 2026
|
|
The year 2026 will mark the 150th anniversary of the founding of Brigham Young Academy High School and Brigham Young High School in 1876. For perspective, the members of the Class of 1968 will be approximately 76 years old that year. Surviving members of the Class of 1944 will be 100 years old. The All Classes BYH Sesquicentennial Reunion of 2026 will be held in the restored Academy building in early July.

2076 Bicentennial Commemoration for All Descendants of BYA & BYH Alumni
|
|
The year 2076 will mark the 200th anniversary of the founding of Brigham Young Academy High School & Brigham Young High School in 1876. All descendants of the alumni of BYA and BYH will be invited to participate in many different aspects of this bicentennial commemoration.
|
|
|
Historical Footnote: The Sesquicentennial of Brigham Young University, founded in 1903, will be held in 2053, followed by the BYU Bicentennial in 2103.
