Mastering the Advanced Text Block

Introduction
When you want to add some content to your web page using EZ-PageBuilder, the first thing you have to do is determine what type of content you want to add. This is an important decision because you have to choose a block type. Each type of block has different options and allows you to work with different types of objects. On occasion, you may find something you want to add to your web page but find that there is no block type that matches the content you want to add. Or maybe you found a match, but the block type doesn't provide the right configuration options.

In these situations, you can do one of two things:
  1. You can use the HTML block and write the HTML code yourself to get your content to look the way you want.
  2. You can use the advanced text block and accomplish the same things, but you won't need to know how to write HTML code.
Flexibility is not the only benefit to using the advanced text block. It also provides you with an easy, familiar interface. Anyone who has ever used Microsoft Word, Wordpad, Works, OpenOffice, WordPerfect, or other comparable word processor applications will find the advanced text block to be really easy to use. Simply place your cursor in the white area and begin typing. Then, if you need to format the text differently or add an object, just click the appropriate button from the toolbar.
