Around the House

Okay, so I bought this plant at a garden nursery a couple years ago. I don't know what it is called, but the guy said it was easy to care for and that pretty "bleeding heart" type flowers would appear in the Spring. Good enough for me. The first season nothing happened, but, this year, I was shocked and very pleased to see these beautiful little flowers! I have never seen "bleeding heart" flowers turn out like this. Not at all what I expected.

Anyone know what the offical name of this plant is?

Here is the whole thing.

I snapped this when Brian and Natalie came one day. Brigham and James had fun playing in this totally busted truck. I keep thinking I am going to get rid of it once and for all (it won't even drive anymore), but the kids just keep playing with it.

Sarah had fun dressing James up as a princess one day, and he just sat there and let her doll him up. He kept saying, "Mom, I'm a princess!" I don't think we need to worry, however, because it didn't take long for him to throw everything off and get back to his regular "James" routine.

One day when the kids were practicing, James wanted so badly to play Sarah's violin. So, I helped him hold it as good as a 2-year-old can, and he couldn't get enough. (This will probably change when he is older and I actually WANT him to practice!)
