We appreciate and are grateful for the many volunteer hours and materials donations. Some of our donors for this home are Wheeler Electric, Mathews Plumbing, Rocky Mountain Supply, K&K Heating, Troy Weaver of Weaver Siding, FoxTree Countertops, Rooftop Solutions, John Bell of Bell Hardwood Floors, their work crew (Chris Scott, Ryan Burke, Jake Crumley, Jonathan Crumley, Steve Anderson, Mike Oaks, Bob Bluhm, Cody White and Pete Husky) and all of the hardwood flooring suppliers who donated materials including Intermountain Wood Products and National Wood Products. Brent and HevenLee Hoopes of Classic Truck and Auto Body donated time and materials to paint the home's front door and shutters. WalMart volunteered a house cleaning crew. Darren Johnson donated the time to install the tile donated by Marshall's Tile and Stone, and Jan Devereaux designed, supervised and helped install the landscaping. We also thank the many food and lunch donors.
Without the sustaining support of our community and the expertise of our volunteers, this work would not be possible.
Our thanks to all of you!

Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity® in 2012, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans® and the Upper Snake River Valley Chapter have joined together with Habitat for Humanity® in partnership on this home build. More than two-thirds of the funding for this home will be contributed by Thrivent Builds and Thrivent Financial Upper Snake River Chapter. This is the fourth Thrivent Builds home for the Idaho Falls Area Affiliate. The first volunteer work day is June 16.
David Sheldon is the Thrivent Financial Chapter Specialist for this home build. A fundraising dinner held May 12 at the Idaho Falls Country Club included cocktails, dinner, speakers and a silent auction in the ticket price. This event generated another ten per cent of the home cost to add to the fifty-five per cent donated by Thrivent Builds. This home is one of 142 Thrivent Builds home construction or rehabilitation projects in 32 states funded for 2012.
Thrivent Builds is the largest single corporate sponsor of Habitat for Humanity International® under the Thrivent Builds partnership. Since its inception in 2005, Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity® has helped more than 2,600 families in the U.S. and around the world achieve the dream of home ownership. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans® fraternal benefit society is a membership-owned not-for-profit financial services company which supports the values of faith, family, stewardship and service.
