Home Dedication Ceremony and Blessing Build 25
held Saturday June 23 at 3pm
The home dedication ceremony included an opening prayer, home blessing, dedication, Bible presentation,
remarks by the Partner Homeowner, a closing prayer and ribbon cutting followed by an open house with refreshments.

Private and corporate donations and grant funding together with labor and material donations from our local and nationwide build partners made it possible to complete our 25th home.

Thrivent Builds With Habitat for Humanity® and the local Lutheran church community sponsored Build 23.
Thrivent Builds, private and corporate donations and grant funding together with labor and material donations from our local and nationwide build partners made it possible to complete our 23rd and 24th homes.
We thank the following local and national build partners for their generous sustaining support of the Idaho Falls Area Habitat for Humanity affiliate program.
SEI Electric, Punt's Plumbing Service, K and K Heating, Holeshot Plumbing, Green Acres Home Improvement, MAK Sheetrock, FoxTree Countertops, Rocky Mountain Cabinets, Buckland Concrete, All Shine Cleaning and Maintenance and Vital Spec all donated contractor labor. Union Pacific Railroad donated used railroad ties for the landscaping. Anything Glass of Nampa, Idaho donated the windows through BMC. Since 1999 Whirlpool has donated a range and Energy Star® refrigerator to every Habitat home. Valspar is Habitat's National Paint Partner and donated the paint. Starbucks donated coffee to the Saturday build volunteers. Lowe's of Idaho Falls donated large evergreen and deciduous trees for the landscaping. CHC Foundation, Inc. funding offset the cost of adding garages required by the City of Ammon building code. The Home Depot/Habitat for Humanity Partnership in Sustainable Building grant was used to build these homes to Energy Star and Water Sense standards. Yale Locks donated all interior and exterior doorknobs. Schneider Electric donated breaker boxes for both homes. SHOP 2008 Grant monies were used for infrastructure expenses. An anonymous donor gave us the use of his tractor for several months to grade land and move materials. URS Corporation gave a large, unsolicited cash donation. Women of the local Lutheran church community prepared and delivered delicious donated lunches. Many private individuals gave cash donations during the build project.

Sponsored by Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity® and local Lutheran congregations. As of October 22, 59 Thrivent Builds volunteers had contributed 1,096 hours of labor toward building this home, powered by delicious lunches prepared and delivered by Lutheran church women.

Vital Spec performed the blower door test for the energy evaluations and heat loss analysis.
